Video Tutorial (no audio) showing you how to conduct one keyword search to find peer-reviewed, scholarly articles across multiple EBSCO subject databases.
Outline of steps demonstrated in video:
1) Click on MLA International Bibliography database
2) Click on Advanced Search
3) In three separate keyword fields, enter the terms:
"Children's Literature"
AND (Asian OR Asian American)
AND "United States"
4) scroll down to search options and select "Scholarly (peer-reviewed) Journals" box
5) Hit "Search"
6) From search results page, above the search boxes, click "Choose databases"
7) From the pop-up menu, select the following databases:
ERIC and
Library, Information Science, & Technology Abstracts (LISTA).
8) Click "OK"
9) In new search page with the simple search box and keywords, click "Search"
10) In the updated search results page, under "Refine Results," check "Scholarly (Peer-reviewed) Journals" box
11) To access an article record and full-text, click on the article title and navigate to where there is a "full-text" link
12) On the full-text page, click on the "Cite" button the right toolbar to find various citation formats of the article including APA 7
