The Hook+ switch interface provides a wired connection to Apple devices. It allows for connection of up to four switches to control your Apple device.
Script:
This is the Hook +. It is a switch interface that provides a wired connection to all Apple devices. The Hook + is compatible with Switch Control, which is found in operating systems iOS 7 or later. To connect this to control your iPad, you simply plug it into the lightning connection port. Then you plug in your switches to one of the four ports on the Hook + interface. To connect your switches, you go into settings-> accessibility-> Switch control. You want to turn your Switch control on, and then you click on Switches and then you would want to “add new switches.” In this case, they would be external. You would press down on your switch. You are able to name your switch and choose a function. For this I will choose “Select Item.” I will add another switch, hit external switch and then you should be able to control your device with your switches. Once the Hook + and the switches are configured, you are able to control your Apple device with the switches. Now this is set up so it is scanning, so I will activate the scanning and I will choose which app that I would like. And then I am able to open that application like this with this switch. And that is the Hook + switch interface.
